제목 Recovery of Europium and Yttrium and Effect of Fatty Acid with Various Alkyl Chain as a Extractant
초록 Recently, the amount of waste electronic devices such as LED, trichromatic fluorescent lamp, etc has increased with development of electronic industry. Reportedly, rare-earth element such as yttrium and europium has discovered in the waste electronic devices. A study on the recovery of yttrium and europium was investigated in various carboxylic acid solutions as an extractant. In order to research the effect according to the length of the alkyl chain, carboxylic acids with various alkyl chain lengths were used as an extractant. The separation capability of the extractants was investigated at wide range of pH (4.5~6.5). When using a myristic acid, the pH0.5 between yttrium and europium had relatively higher selectivity.
