Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide abundant in biological tissues. The purpose of this study was fabricated photocurable HA-hydorgel with aminoethyl methacrylate grafted HA. The morphological and chemico-physical properties of a series of HA-hydrogels were evaluated by SEM, ATR-FTIR, and rheological analysis. Moreover, simvastatin acid release and cellular response of HA-hydrogel were evaluated in vitro. The rheological analysis showed that the mechanical properties of hydrogels were increased with increasing AEMA concentration. Release result showed that 1 mg simvastatin acid loaded HA-hydrogel was observed more sustained release compared with 0.1 mg and 0.5 mg simvastatin acid loaded HA-hydrogel. MC3T3-E1 cells were more proliferated on increasing of simvastatin acid concentration loaded HA-hydrogel. In conclusion, photocurable HA-hydrogel was successful carrier for sustained release of drug in vitro. |
