제목 Synthesis of Nickel Complexes from Isoindole-Pyrimidine Ligands. A New Family of Olefin Oligomerization Catalysts.
초록 Late transition metal catalysts for oligomerization and polymerization of olefins has become a topic of special interest in both academic and industrial sectors. Nickel catalyst attained special interest due to their tunable polymerization activity and polymer microstructure by simple modification of the ligand architecture. Various Schiff-base ligands have been extensively studied based on their easy preparation and promising catalytic properties of their late transition metal complexes. Involved in exploring alternative nickel complexes as catalysts for ethylene activation, we have developed a series of isoindolone-pyrimidine nickel catalysts for olefin polymerization. The catalysts showed high activity for ethylene oligomerization with ethyl aluminium sesquichloride as cocatalyst.
