Novel thermo-sensitive NDPPPA/NIPAM based poly(acrylamides) and their properties |
초록 |
New N-substituted acrylamide monomer (NDPPPA) having benzene ring and long alkyl chains were synthesized. The resulting homopolymer and copolymers (NDPPPA/NIPAM) with number average molecular weights of 16,000~36,600 were prepared by a radical chain polymerization. The polymers exhibited a sol-gel phase transition behavior of temperature in hydrophobic solvents such as benzene and toluene. The phase transition temperature was dependent not only on the composition ratio of the new monomer in the copolymer but also on the kind of solvent. The temperature dependent sol-gel transition behavior was confirmed by a dynamic light scattering method.
