Preparation of PVDF nanofiber membranes for the application of direct methanol fuel cell |
초록 |
PVDF composite membranes were prepared by using the sulfonated PVDF with sulfuric acid(SPS/PVDF). However, the PVDF membrane was prepared by an electrospining method instead of phase separation.The final PVdF nanofiber membranes with average pore size of 0.4 micron were produced.It was found that the electric conductivity of SPS/PVDF composite membranes were higher than that of Nafion 117, while the methanol permeability showed lower value than that of Nafion 117.It can beconcluded that SPS/PVDF nanofiber membranes show the possibility of alternative membrane for Nafion 117 due to their enhanced elective conductivity, water content, and methanol cross-over. |
