A simple low temperature for sponteneus formation of nanoripples on ZnO thin films was developed, and these nanostructured ZnO films were used as hole-blocking layer in inverted organic solar cells, Moreover, power conversion efficiency (PCE) vary depending on the temperature of heat treatment. Among various temperatures of heat treatment 180 oC for 10 minute resulted in the best photovoltaic performance of the organic solar cell consisting of a stack of indium tin oxide/ZnO/PTB7 (polythienothiophene-co-benzodithiophenes 7) mixed with PC70BM (phenyl-C71-butyric acid methyl ester) /PEDOT:PSS (poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate))Ag. Existence of nanoripples on ZnO results in a higher contact area between ZnO and active layer, leading to an enhanced photovoltaic performance. also this method can apply for the flexible substrate such as PEN (polyethylene-naphthlalte), PET (polyethlene terephthalate) film. This means that we can make high performance organic solar in mass production using this method. |
