In this study, silicone resin which is widely used in medical fields was modified to improve its blood compatibility. Silicone resin was coated with hyaluronic acid conjugated with dopamine (HA-DA) or poly (ethylene glycol) conjugated with dopamine (PEG-DA). Prepared coating materials were characterized by 1H-NMR, and coating surfaces were analyzed with contact angle, XPS, ellipsometry, and micro BCA. Finally, FITC-BSA was adsorbed to compare coating surfaces with bare silicone resin surface. The FITC-BSA on surfaces was observed by fluorescent microscope and quantified. In addition, platelet adhesion was evaluated. |
