제목 Acridine type exciton blocking material for long lifetime blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes
초록  We designed and simply synthesized an exciton blocking material with 9-phenylcarbazole and 9,9-dimethyl-9,10-dihydroacridine units. An exciton blocking material, 9,9-dimethyl-10-(9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-3-yl)-9,10-dihydroacridine (PCZAC), was used for device application in blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes. The PCZAC exciton blocking material showed a high triplet energy of 2.99 eV. The quantum efficiency of PCZAC device was higher than that of the device without exciton blocking layer. The lifetime of PCZAC device was longer than that of other devices and the lifetime up to 70% of initial luminance was 180 h, respectively.
