제목 pH-Responsive and Biocompatible Multilayer Thin Films Based on Cooperative Zipping Effect of Hyaluronic Acid for Controlled Release
초록 We demonstrate biocompatible and therapeutical multilayer thin films composed of [polyethylene glycolpoly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) block copolymer micelles (PEG-PLGA BCMs) - hyaluronic acid (HA)] blend layers and linear polyethylene imine (LPEI) layers. Mutlilayer thin films are sequentially deposited on substrates using the electrostatic interaction between HA and LPEI by the dip-assisted layer-by-layer deposition method. Biodegradable, non-charged PEG-PLGA BCMs carrying water insoluble target drugs are physically entrapped within the interconnected network of HA matrix layers. The amount of PEG-PLGA BCMs within the multilayer films were characterized by ellipsometry, AFM, SEM and fluorescent microscopy. Prepared (LPEI/PEG-PLGA BCMs - HA)n multilayer thin films show the controlled release behavior depending on the film compositions at biologically compatible condition (pH 7.4).
