Applications of microwave system on surface modification reaction |

It is widely reported that a microwave system can enhance the chemical and biological reactions. A uniform type of microwave system (HST Inc.) for biological and mild chemical reaction has been developed and applied for some of synthetic and enzymatic reactions. In this study, we modified the bare magnetic particle to silica and 9-aminoacridine coated magnetic particle using conventional and HST microwave assisted method. As a result, When we used a microwave system, we confirmed that the silica coated particle was made for a short time about 3hrs (The Conventional reaction time is about 24hrs) and the reaction efficiency of 9-aminoacridine coated magnetic increased within a short time. We proved that a new microwave system increased the reaction efficiency of surface modification on magnetic particles and shortened the time for reaction. |
