In recent years, noise pollution has been become serious problem on automobile industry. Generally, various morphological properties such as open porosity, cell size and tortuosity have an effect on sound absorption efficiency and physical property of the foams. Also, their viscoelasticity are crucial for acoustic property resulted from specific mechanism of sound absorption. In this studies, the three inorganic fillers (talc, zinc borate, aluminum hydroxide) are used for fabricating polyurethane composite foams. For exploring relationship between sound absorption efficiency and inorganic fillers of polyurethane foam, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) and impedance tube were used. The morphological and thermos-mechanical results show that talc filler increases of sound absorption efficiency and physical properties than other inorganic fillers. |
