제목 | Microporous Polyimide Membranes Incorporating Alicyclic Tröger's Base (PI-TB) |
초록 | A rigid, alicyclic, V-shaped and bridged bicyclic amine, Tröger’s Base (TB) has been extensively investigated in applications of stereochemistry and organo-catalysis. For the case of gas separation applications, McKeown et al., firstly exploited its peculiar feature. Towards scalable and practical productions, TB was readily incorporated into commercially available polyimides (PI-TBs) in-situ polymerization. All PI-TBs developed in this study showed good processability, high thermal and chemical stabilities, accessible microporosity and enhanced gas sorption and transport characteristics. In particular, PI-TBs retained or even enhanced CO2 plasticization responses compared to the benchmark polyimide membranes. |
