EPDM is an elastomer which is generally used for a wide range of applications. EPDM used in electrical insulation generally includes talc, etc. In this research, bottom ash is added to EPDM as the filler. Thermal properties, morphologies and mechanical characteristics of insulation cables are investigated by TGA, SEM and UTM, respectively.
