제목 Preparation and Characterization of Polymer-Modified Silica Gel Composites Based on Polyimide

Polymer-modified silica gels with monodispersed surface were prepared by the reaction of silica gel with poly(maleic anhydride-styrene), polystyrene and poly(methyl methacrylate) silane coupling agents respectively. The amount of attached polymer was determined by weight loss during temperature elevation from 100 to 800℃, after keeping the sample at 100℃ for 30min. The covalent bonding of polymer and surface of silica gel was confirmed by 29Si cross-polarization magic-angle-spinning (CP/MAS) NMR spectroscopy. Polyimide/silica composite films were successfully prepared by blending poly(amic acid) and silica gel composites. Intrinsic peaks were observed from 2000 to 500cm-1 by FT-IR in the case of polyimide and polyimide/silica films. The mechanical properties and thermal properties were measured by UTM and TGA, respectively.
