제목 Design and shape controlled synthesis of gold nano composite using thiophene-based conjugated polymer
초록 Shape of the nanoparticle with polymer was controlled by the molecular weight and the structure of the polymer. We designed various sizes of BNT(binapthyl bithiophene) polymers and bithiophene containing polymers without binapthyl group to control the shape of the gold nanocomposite. In our system, gold(III) oxidizes the end group (bithiophene) and reduced on the polymer and stabilized and grow on the polymer depending of its size and shape. When the reaction over, well dispersed gold nanomaterials were found and observed with SEM and TEM. By controlling the shape of polymers, different shape of the gold nanocomposite shows different properties and with this properties we could use it in shape dependent sensing and catalyst.
