제목 Characteristics of nylon reinforced composite membrane for water electrolysis
초록 In this study, a functional ionomer based on a highly durable ion blocking nanocomposite was prepared by introducing a nanoparticle precursor into an ion conductive polymer. In addition, by impregnating and coating a functional ionomer on the substrate of a porous nylon sheet, a new high-performance separator for hydrogen production water electrolysis having high durability, high ionic conductivity and permeability control characteristics was prepared. Their moisture content, dimensional change rate, and ionic conductivity were measured, and based on this, the optimum manufacturing conditions for the membrane were identified. The separation membrane based on high ion conductivity nanocomposite used in water electrolysis for hydrogen energy production is expected to be applied not only to water electrolysis systems, but also to systems using polymer electrolyte membranes such as energy storage devices and water treatment devices.
