P3HT-based nanocomposites in solution and in thin film |

π-conjugated polymers are regarded as one of the most promising materials for use in so-called plastic electronics because of their excellent electrical and optical properties, reasonable chemical stability, and easy processability. Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) belongs to this important class of conjugated polymers. In this work, we report the nanocomposites of a series of π-conjugated polymer(P3HT) in solution and in thin film. The carbon nanotubes and various nanoparticle that can act as potential electron acceptor are added to the P3HT solution. The structure and morphology of nanocomposites in solution and in thin films were investigated under various instrumental analysis methods including TEM and AFM. |
