제목 Study on the Melting Temperatures of Silver Nanoparticles
초록 Change of melting temperatures of silver nanoparticles was investigated depending upon their sizes. Contents of silver in the colloidal solutions were more than 20%, which were prepared by a surfactant. The silver colloidal solutions could be dispersed into the solvents of MEK, ethanol, etc. Sizes and distribution of silver nanoparticles were investigated by using TEM. The silver nano particle solutions exhibited pale yellow or dark brown colors depending upon the their particle sizes and contents. Thermal behavior of silver nanoparticle solutions was investigated using TGA and DSC. Organic components such as surfactants were removed at around 300℃ and the metallic silver nanoparticles showed melting temperature at 400~500℃.
