제목 | Dry Reforming of Methan over Ni/Al2O3 Catalysts : Effect of ZrO2 |
초록 | The global concern for environment, especially green-house gases such as CO2, NO and CH4, has increased radically. To solve these problems, there are a lot of technologies for utilization and removal of green-house gases. Dry reforming ideally produces CO and H2 by using only CO2 and CH4, but the side reaction is occurring simultaneously such as WGS, Boudouard, and methanation reactions which yield H2O, CH4, and C under various forms. Nevertheless dry reforming of methane (DRM) is very useful process in terms of the utilization of green-house gases, there exist the obstacles for industrial applications of DRM by coke formation. In this study, the c-ZrO2, m-ZrO2, and t-ZrO2 prepared by different methods (hydrothermal synthesis, sol-gel synthesis, and precipitation) were used as a promoter in Ni-γAl2O3 to investigate the activity and thermal stability in DRM. It was found that the thermal stability and activity depended on the preparation method and t-ZrO2 had an effect on DRM reaction more positively in terms of stability and activity than the other ZrO2 phases. |
