제목 Development of Specifically Aptamer Binding to Capnocytophaga ochracea a Causing of a Periodontitis
초록 Capnocytophaga ochracea is a Gram negative bacillus which grow in atmosphere that has at least 5% CO₂ due to the it’s total dependence of fixing CO₂. It exists as a part of the normal flora in human oral periodontal tissue and can cause disease periodontitis. The original method of diagnose was to extract the blood of patients and identify the infection of the strain. In this study, we have developed single-stranded DNA aptamers to detect C.ochracea. The aptamers have the advantages such as stable tertiary structure, small size and steady activation. The aptamer is able to bind receptors or proteins located on the cell surface of bacteria with high affinity and specificity, and to detect bacteria quickly and easily. The aptamer that binds to the target C.ochracea, we utilized SELEX (Systematic Evolution of Ligands by exponential Enrichment) process to find. Currently we are at the process of selecting ssDNA binding to the target.
