Improved physical property of montmorillonite bases carboxymethyl cellulose hydrogels prepared by electron beam irradiation |
초록 |
Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a polysaccharide which is widely used in personal hygiene part including a diaper, a hygienic band. Also CMC hydrogels is non-toxic, good biocompatibility and high biodegradable. In this work, the physical characterizations of CMC hydrogels with montmorillonite (MMT) were investigated. The CMC powder and MMT were dissolved in the distilled water (DIW) by using centricfugal mixer. Finally, the mixture was irradiated by electron beam accelerator to make hydrogel. Their physical property of CMC hydrogels with MMT such as water solubility, water sorption, and mechanical properties were investigated. Also, the morphological changes of the CMC hydrogel with MMT were observed using a scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
