제목 Toward the better understanding of photoinduced properties on azo polymers II : Effects of azo chromophore contents
초록 Polymers containing azobenzene groups are extensively investigated due to the unique photoinduced properties which are applicable to information storage through reversible photo-isomerization of azo chromophore and photoinduced dynamics of polymer chains. Photoinduced properties of azo polymers can be easily controlled by rigidity of polymer chains, electron withdrawing groups in the para position of azobenzene, the chromophore contents and so on. In this research, we investigated the effects of the chromophore contents on photoinduced properties such as photoinduced anisotropy and surface relief gratings in copolymer systems. These properties were investigated by atomic force microscopy, UV-Vis spectra, diffraction efficiency and photoinduced birefringence.
