Chiral (Salen) Complexes Encapsulated in ZSM-5 having Mesoporous System as an Enantioselective Catalyst for Phenolic Ring Opening of Terminal Epoxides |
| 초록 |
The microporous ZSM-5 was modified by alkaline and acidic solution to introduce mesoporosity in the crystals. The formation of mesopores could be confirmed by the instrumental analysis and by checking the catalytic activity after introducing the salen complexes into the mesopores by ‘ship-in-a-bottle’ procedure. These heterogeneous chiral catalysts showed efficient catalytic activity and selectivity in the enantioselective phenolic ring opening of terminal epoxides to synthesize valuable chiral intermediates. |
