The effect of the hydrophobic block structure on durability of sulfonated poly(phenylene)-based cation exchange membranes(CEM) for all vanadium redox flow batteries |
초록 |
Typically, the excellent chemical stability as well as outstanding electrochemical property, under the strong acidic conditions, is required to the ion exchange membrane which is key component of VRFB. In this study, We synthesized four kinds of multi-block type cation exchange membrane materials based on sulfonated poly(p-phenylene)s with different hydrophobic block structure to investigate the effect of the hydrophobic block structure on durability of membrane in VRFB. In conclusion, The materials show outstanding cycling stability, good chemical stability and low vanadium ions permeability. |
