Specific and non-specific adhesions of cells on ion beam irradiated polymer substrates |
| 초록 |
Patterning of biomolecules such as cells and proteins is important for bioelectronic devices, tissue engineering, and drug delivery systems. In this study, various polymer films spin-coated on petri dishes were irradiated through a pattern mask with accelerated proton ions. After irradiation, the films were developed with deionized water to generate the polymer patterns. The ion beam irradiation effect on the polymer patterns was investigated by using FT-IR spectroscopy and water contact angle measurement. The results revealed that the specific and non-specific adhesions of the cells were strongly depended on the types of polymers. |
