제목 Printing-based Organic Thin-Film Transistors Using TIPS-pentacene
초록 Recently, printing-based organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) have been studied very much due to their advantages of low cost and simple solution process such as spin coating, inkjet printing, and micro-contact printing, which enable to realize large-area TFT array backplane for display applications through the so-called roll-to-roll manufacturing.
We will report the recent progress and future prospects of OTFTs based on solution-process using TIPS-pentacene. We have studied the electrical properties of TFT device in various condition of solution process such as spin-coating and inkjet printing on several organic and inorganic gate insulators. In particular, we will describe TFT performance of a bottom-contact OTFTs fabricated by the selective printing of TIPS-pentacene on micro-structured bank. The TFT structure and process of bottom-contact type will be introduced in detail.
