제목 | Dissolution test of ibuprofen using the self micro-emulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS) |
초록 | The quick efficiency and long term delivery are important things in drug delivery system. In this work, model drug ibuprofen (non-steroid antiphlogistic anodyne) uses SMEDDS for enhancing solubility and rapid efficiency. SMEDDS composed of carbitol (co-surfactant), 1944cs (oil) and RH-40 (surfactant). Ibuprofen has low solubility in water (0.03~2.5㎎/㎖) but dissolves in oils and surfactants. Drug is solved with carbitol, then mix 1944cs and RH-40. We found out the most suitable combination rate which was formed micell by annexing water. Phase diagram draw up a degree of micell formation. Ingredients except water from the mixture are compared with two commercial reference sirup which was established as contrast group. Dissolution test was performed by three hours. The result is that both experiment group and contrast group were observed about 70% dissolution degree in gastric juice while the former was observed about 80% high dissolution behavior in contrast with the latter which was dissoluted about 10% in intestinal juice. Therefore this work suggest quick pharmacological action because the first dissolution rate of the drug is high that antiphlogistic anodyne must make it ready.
