제목 Preparation and characterization of hybrids of clay and polyimide based on water-soluble precursor
초록 Aromatic polyimides are high performance polymeric materials. The effects of dynamical and dielectric properties of polyimide/organoclay nanocomposites were already demonstrated by several researches. In order for hydrophilic clay to be dispersed in the polymer matrix well, it needs to modify the surface of the clay. This process is an important step to get a good intercalation in the hybrid; however, it is somewhat complicate. In this work, we synthesize PI/clay hybrid without modification by using a water-soluble polyimide precursor. We also discuss effects of precursor types by comparing the properties of polyimide based on water-soluble precursor /clay composites and PAA/organo-modified clay composites.
