제목 | Ionic liquid treated graphite felt electrodes for vanadium redox flow battery |
초록 | In this study, Ionic liquid was used to improve electrochemical performance of electrodes. As the amount of ionic liquid increased, voltage efficiency and energy efficiency of cells with ionic liquid-treated electrodes increased. As the current density increased, the efficiency difference between the electrode treated with ionic liquid and the reference electrode gradually increased. When the charge / discharge test was performed for 100 cycles at a current density of 100mA/cm2, the cell using the ionic liquid-treated electrode showed a smaller voltage efficiency reduction than the cell using the reference electrode. At the same time, the discharge capacity was maintained more than when the reference electrode was used. It was confirmed that the electrode stability was improved when ionic liquid treatment was carried out on the electrode, which resulted in the improvement of the VRFB performance at high current densities. |
