Preparation and characterization of activated carbon electrode coated withSPEEK |

Activated carbon electrode can be applied to water purification to remove solids dissloved in water. Sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone)(SPEEK) was synthesized with sulfuric acid and its solution wascoated on the surface of activated carbon electrode by doctor-blade methode. These electordes with SPEEK were prepared according to drying conditionsand additivies in coating solution. We investigated cyclic voltammetry, sepecific capacitance and impedance in order to evaluate the electrochemical characteristics. The impedance between the electrode and electrolyte was affected by experimental conditions. |
