제목 Surface Modification of Gd2O3 Nanoparticles as a MRI Active Gd-NCT Agent with Amphiphilic Diblock Copolymers
초록 We prepared monodisperse and nano-sized Gd2O3 nanoparticles by using polyol protocol to control the size and particle properties. Several factors were considered, such as reaction temperature and time to control the crystal growth of Gd2O3 nanoparticles. These Gd2O3 nanoparticles have some characteristics for a potential application like a cancer diagnosis and therapy. The prepared Gd2O3 nanoparticles were coated with amphiphilic PEO-b-PCL and PEO-b-PHEMA to enhance the properties as a MRI active Gd-NCT agent. Effects of block copolymers on the water-solubility in vitro and enhanced residence time in vivo were extensively investigated.
