Advanced Materials of Spherical L4T5O12 for Rechargeable Energy Storage Devices |

The hybrid capacitors are completed the disadvantage of the electric double layer capacitors. So the hybrid capacitors have high energy density and long lifetime. The L4T5O12 (LTO) is used to electrode active material of hybrid capacitors. LTO has high structural stability and very long cycle life. These days, it was developed to improve the properties of the LTO. One of the improving properties of LTO is extended the surface area of LTO. In this study, we have researched how to attach the nano size spherical LTO to surface of the micro size spherical LTO to increase surface area of LTO. The composite LTO had spherical shape and prepared by sol-gel process. The resulting composite LTO showed improvements, which were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electrochemical test. |
