Fabrication of Chitosan Scaffold Hybridized with β-glucan loaded Gelatin Microspheres for the improvement of fibroblast proliferation |
초록 |
β-glucan is a polysaccharide consisting of β-D-glucose and displays antibacterial and anti-oxidant functions. In cosmetic industries, β-glucan is widely used as a valuable supplementary for the improvement of skin quality. In this study, we fabricated chitosan scaffold hybridized with β-glucan loaded gelatin microspheres. The effect of incorporation of β-glucan and gelatin microspheres in chitosan scaffold was evaluated using analytical techniques, including SEM, zeta potential, FT-IR. The cellular responses to the prepared scaffold were examined in terms of proliferation and differentiation of NIH-3T3 cells. We expect this result can be potentially utilized for the preparation of soft tissue substitutes. |
