Transesterification of RBD Palm Oil Using Supercritical Methanol in a Continuous System |
초록 |
The transesterification of RBD palm oil was investigated by using supercritical process in a continuous system. The objective of this work is to find the optimal condition for obtaining higher contents of fatty acid methyl ester and study the effect of process parameters on the contents of fatty acid methyl ester. The experimental parameters were reaction temperature, pressure, reaction time, the molar ratio of methanol to palm oil, flow rate, the diameter of reactor, and packing method. The contents of fatty acid methyl ester were analyzed by gas chromatography according to the British Standard. |
