Camphorsulfonic acid (CSA)-doped polyaniline (PANI) is made of nanoscaled grains, and it has received attention due to high conductivity and facile method for fabrication of thin-film electrode. In this work, conductivity of PANI/CSA electrode could be enhanced via increased solution viscosity and decreased surface roughness of PANI/CSA thin-film. In fact, PANI/CSA having increased viscosity of 1,500 centipoise and surface roughness of less than 2 nm showed 1.5 times higher conductivity compared to conventional PANI/CSA electrodes. As a result, PANI/CSA having enhanced conductivity represented excellent electrocatalytic activity which is crucial to application for energy harvesting devices such as dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). |
