Organic and polymeric light-emitting device (OLEDs / PLEDs) have been the subject of intense academic and industrial research in recent years due to their potential advantages in high-efficiency, low-driving-voltage, full-color flat-panel display systems and next generation energy-saving light. In this research, new uv-violet light emitting polymer was synthesized by palladium-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reaction. The polymer was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV absorption, photoluminescence (PL), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The themal properties of this material was confirmed by using the thermogravimertric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). |
