제목 Dynamic discrete linear model for simulated moving bed chromatography
초록 Simulated moving bed (SMB) is a separation process widely used in chemical industry and pharmaceutical field. In order to overcome the disadvantages of the existing chromatography process, which is operated by batch, the effect of continuous process is simulated by continuously changing the role of many fixed bed columns. Since SMB is just simulating the effects of the continuous process, it is more complex than the conventional continuous process and has several differences. In addition, since the general numerical modeling equation of SMB is expressed by partial differential algebraic equations, it is difficult to use existing controls and optimization techniques. Therefore, in this poster, the discrete dynamic linear model is derived based on the existing SMB modeling equations and the validity is verified by comparing with simulation result. For the future works, we plan to carry out studies to control disturbance factors and diagnose abnormalities in various situations by using the model.
