제목 Characterization of Dielectric Performance of Bulk BaTiO3 Fabricated by Conventional Template-Grain-Growth 
초록 Barium Titanate is widely used when fabricating multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) due to its outstanding dielectric properties. Incresing the capacitance of MLCC by reduction in each layer dimension was a general approach. Size effect, however, hindered further usage of miniaturized BT particles. Hence, by maintaining nano partilcle we utilized anisotrophy of 1D BT nanorods. Oriented grins of bulk BaTiO3 was fabricated using conventional template grain growth (TGG) method. Preferrentially oriented grains of bulk ceramic showed anisotropic dielectric properties compare to randomly fabricated BaTiO3 ceramics. Hydrothermally synthesized 1D BT nanorods were used as a seed material. [001] directionally grown single crystal templates were unifomly distributed within the 50nm equiaxed BT matrix particles. Although, microstructures of as-sintered BT showed spherical grain morphology, X-ray diffration patterns confirmed the maintenance of preferential crystallography. Overall, TGG fabricated BT showed improved dielectric performance compare to random ones.
