제목 N-(Pentadecan-7-yl)phenothiazine-thiophene-bis(octyloxy)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole: Synthesis of π-conjugated polymers and photovoltaic performance improvement
초록 In this study, π-conjugated polymer based on phenothiazine and benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole was synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction. A branched alkyl group was substituted at nitrogen of phenothiazine, and an octyloxy chain was substituted on benzothiadiazole to enhance the solubility of the copolymer. In addition, thiophene was used as a spacer. The yield and molecular weight of polymer was improved by increasing purification step. The optical band-gap energy value was lowered from 1.97 to 1.90 eV. The compound structure was confirmed by using 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR, and measured basic properties with GPC and TGA. The optical and electrochemical behaviors were analyzed by UV-Vis and cyclic voltammetry. The devices were fabricated to investigate the photovoltaic characteristic.
