제목 A Study on the Optical and Electrochemical Properties of Phthalimide Based Conjugated Polymers for Photovoltaic Application
초록  Since phthalimide(PI) unit has strong electron-withdrawing behaviors, PI-based polymers attract some interests in conjugated polymers. Furthermore, its HOMO energy level can be easily lowered due to the low HOMO energy level of PI, which enhances open circuit voltage(VOC) values of devices.
 In this study, PI-based polymers were synthesized by Stille coupling reaction. To improve its solubility and charge carrier mobility, various electron-donating materials such as benzodithiophene(BDT) derivatives, phenothiazine(PTZ) derivatives were introduced into the polymer as a donor. The electrochemical, optical and photovoltaic properties are investigated and then, the differences among these properties of the synthesized polymers were compared.
