제목 | Measurement of water solubility in the CO2-N2 liquid mixtures at high pressures |
초록 | Hydrate formation is the problem in carbon dioxide sequestration process. It is important to lower water concentration below the hydrate-forming condition. For determining hydrate-free condition, several researchers studied water solubility in the carbon dioxide-rich phase. But captured carbon dioxide in actual carbon sequestration process includes nitrogen, sulfur dioxide and so on as impurities. These impurities affect water solubility in carbon dioxide rich phase, so the effect of impurities has to be studied. In this work, equilibrium of water solubility in carbon dioxide-rich liquid phase including a small quantity of nitrogen was determined and the effect of nitrogen was studied through comparison with previous literature data. |
