Polymer solar cells (PSCs) are promising devices for important source of energy because of their solution processibility, low cost, and light weight. However, using corrosive buffer layer and low work function metal electrode limits long-term stability of PSCs. Inverted PSCs (i-PSCs) by employing metal oxide as buffer layer and high work fuction metal electrode are introduced in many studies for stability. But internal defect of buffer layer and energy barrier between metal oxide and active layer are main disadvantages of i-PSCs. In this study, we fabricated PSCs with or without alkali metal doped buffer layer via solution process. As a result, energy barrier and internal defect of buffer layer were reduced and the photovoltaic performance of alkali metal doped i-PSCs was enhanced. |
