Subphthalocyanines (Sub-Pcs) are the lowest homologues of phthalocyanine, which are well-known two-dimensional 18π-election aromatic system with unusual electrical and optical properties. Extensive investigations revealed that Sub-Pcs share excellent properties of phthalocyanine with relatively high solubility. The absorption spectra of Sub-Pcs are similar to those of metal phthalocyanine but shift toward blue region. They expected to be novel potential optical recording dye because of their high non-linear optical properties. In this study, subphthalocyanine was synthesized at 140℃~180℃ for various times under both microwave and classical energy source. The characteristics of the samples synthesized at various conditions were characterized by the means of DSC, XRD, FT-IR, UV-vis, H-NMR et al. The yield and purity of the samples synthesized under both energy sources were compared to find the efficiency of microwave synthesis. |
