N1-Picorylpyridonecarboxylic acid-chitosan derivatives[PPC] which have improved antibacterial effects, such as pyridonecarboxylic acid contained O-acyl chitosan at C-6 methylenehydroxide are promising agents for drug application aiming its use as medical case. In this work, O-pyridonecarboxylic acid substituted chitosan derivatives, with has been efficiently synthesized from modified and a degree of substitution at C-3 pyridonecarboxylic acid with low molecular chitosan in the presence of acidic condition as a catalyst. The resulting substituted chitin and chitosan will be presented. |
