Influence of Chemical Activation on Electrochemical Capacitor of Nanoporous Carbons Synthesized from One-Pot method |

In this work, we prepared the activated porous carbons (A-PCs) via chemical activation with KOH/PCs ratios in a range of 1:1 to 1:4. Porous carbons (PCs) have been prepared by the one-pot method which is the organic-organic self-assembly using resorcinol and triblock copolymer Pluronic F127. The textural properties of the A-PCs were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using a Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The structural properties of the A-MCs were measured from X-ray diffraction (XRD). The electrochemical performances and capacitances were measured by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-dischage, respectively. From these results, the electrochemical performances of A-PCs were improved with usage of KOH reagent. This could be interpreted by the high specific surface area and large total pore volume of the A-PCs. |
