We deeply investigated the effect of the alkyl chain length of alkylamine ligands (AALs), on CsFAMA crystal domains using GIWAXS measurement by changing the incident angle of the x-ray. As a result, when a small amount of AALs was added, the preferential crystal orientation was altered while the degree of crystallinity was not changed. As longer the alkyl length of AALs, the percentage of 45˚ tilted (100) (? = ± 45˚) is decreased and the percentage of vertically oriented (100) (? = 0˚) is increased at the surface of the film. And the addition of AALs with long alkyl length results vertically aligned (100) in bulk region of the film. Also, a high percentage of isotropic (100) is observed in the film added AALs and this trend is shown strong with alkyl length is longer. This work provides the importance of the chemical structure of additives to the engineering of crystal preferential orientation. |
