제목 Heat curable PU froth for biomedical polymer material
초록 Foaming process using blowing agent is not suitable for the formation of foam of thin film such as Microcellular foam film because of random foaming of surface by sudden reaction. We used heat curable polyurethane froth to overcome this defect and applied heat curable PU froth to microporous PU scaffold. New trial for making porous PU scaffold was occurred by making froth of PU solution using homogenizing machine under the various conditions of diol(ether type, ester type), diisocyanate and surfactant. By this process, it is possible to obtain good mechanical strength and pore homogeneity. Prepared samples showed good mechanical characteristics, especially in low compression set value, this scaffolds can be applied for good candidates to the fields of load bearing in orthopaedics.
