The Study on Dispersion Property of Nano-Particles by Zeta-Potential Theory and Its Applications for PET Film with a High Transparence by a Wet Coating |

Along with the change to high-resolution CDT in recent years, the treatment technology on the surface of the display has changed from anti-glare to anti-reflection treatment. Transparent nano-materials such as ITO, ATO, and SiO2, etc. were blended with functional polymers for the hard coating solution. Dispersion property of nano-particles in the blend is a major to enhance AR coating properties. In this paper, zeta-potential was measured with a varying pH to investigate the dispersion property of nano-particles and polymers. Zeta potential is as a magnitude of repulsive or attractive energy between particles when a particle is moved as long as its diameter. From these results, we could obtain the optimized blending condition and apply for the preparation of a transparent PET film by a wet coating. |
