Synthesis, X-ray Structures, and ε-Caprolactone Polymerization Behavior of Novel Titanium Complexes Containing a New Tetradentate [ONNO]- Ligand |
| 초록 |
The development of new ancillary ligands to sustain catalytic activity at metal centers is currently an intensively studied area in organometallic chemistry. Among strategies for the design of new ligands, the search for alternatives to the cyclopentadienyl groups is receiving special attention. A synthesis of new tetradentate [ONNO]-type ligands with flexible aliphatic chains and their titanium complexes will be demonstrated. The X-ray structure of titanium complexes bearing alkoxide or halide will be also shown. In addition, the polymerization activity of ε-caprolacton(CL) using new titanium catalysts will be presented. |
