제목 Ti-15-3 합금의 용접취성 평가
초록 Among the titanium alloys, Ti-15-3 is a high strength alloy and was developed to have good workability and manufacturing process of high pressure vessels using this alloy employs hot spin forming, heat treatment, and welding. In the current study, the change in brittleness and strength is investigated according to the heat treatment and back shielding gas from the specimen test. It was found that the major reason of brittleness in weldment is due to the lack of the back shielding gas and post-weld annealing is helpful to enhance the brittleness and stregnth of GTA welded Ti-15-3.
